All properties have a SG Diagram. The main purpose of an SG Diagram is to show dimensions and layout of a specific property, it further displays any road, council or right of way servitudes registered on the property.
An SG Diagram is specifically useful when disputes arise as to the boundaries of properties.
Architects often require SG Diagrams so that they can position the property on its north bearing. Not only does an SG Diagram provide the lengths of each wall but it also provides coordinates, bearings and a description of all boundary beacons (commonly referred to as pegs)
